ரமண சத்குரு நாதா எந்நாளும் எப்போதும்

 

Unai maravaa  nilai  thaarum ayyaa

Ramana  Sathguru nadhaa Yennalum  Yeppothum

 

Please give  a state where  I do not forget you

Oh  Sathuguru Lord Ramana , for ever and all times

அருட்கனியும் பார்வையும் சாந்தி நிலவும்
கருணை முகமும் அகத்தில் நிதம் காணும்

 

Arutkaniyum paarvayum , santhi nilavum

Karunai  mukhamum , agathil nitham kaanum

 

The look dripping  with divinity, the merciful face

Dripping with peace, may be seen in my mind daily

 

சரணம்

அக்னிச்சுடரொன்று வாழ்வில் ஒளியேற்ற அருணை அடைந்தது
இக்கணமே உண்மைப் பொருள் விளங்க அது கருணை புரிந்தது
நெக்குருகி இதயம் கரைந்திடவே அது வழி செய்தது
பக்கதுணை நீயே ரமணாவென்று மனம் புரிந்து கொண்டது (உனை மறவாநிலை தாருமய்யா )

 

Aghni  chudar ondru vaazhvil oliyethra arunai adainthu

Yikkaname unmai  porul vilanga, athu karunai  purinthathu

Nekkuruki  idhayam  karainthidave, athu  vazhi cheithathu

Pakkathunai neeye ramanaa vendru manam purinthu kondathu (unai maravaa nilai thaarum ayyaa)

 

One spark of fire, to light the life reached Arunachala

It showed  mercy so that we knew immediately  the meaning

It also made way with intense devotion for the heart  to melt

The mind understood that Lord Ramana is only  its support  (State when we don’t forget you)

பற்பல நூல் கற்றும் மனமடங்க மறுக்குது
கற்றவர் பலர் உரை கேட்டும் அது வெளியே தேடுது
வெற்றுடல் இது அழியும் எனவே மெய்ப்பொருளை நாடிடு
உற்றநிலை அடைந்திடவே உனை மனம் நாடுது
(உனை மறவாநிலை தாருமய்யா)

 

Parpala  neel kathrum  manam  adanga marukkuthu

Kathravr palar  urai kettum  athu  veliye  theduthu

Vethrudal  ithu azhiyum yenave mei porulai  naadidu

Uthra nilai adainthidave unai  manam naaduthu(Unai maravaa nilai thaarumayyaa)

 

Inspite of reading many books , mind refuses  o surrender

In spite of hearing lectures of many leaned people, it searches out side

Please  search for the true fact that this ordinary body would get destroyed

This mind  seeks to  attain the  proper state  (State when we do not forget you)
