நடமாடும் தெய்வம் உன்னை சரணடைந்தேன்

 

Nadamadum deivam unai  saran adainthen

 

I surrendered to you the moving God

ஆதாரம் ஏதுமின்றி உன் பாதார விந்தமதை
( நடமாடும் தெய்வம் )

 

AAdharam yethumindri un padharavindhamathar(Nadamaadum deivam)

 

Without any basis, the  lotus like  feet of yours  (moving  god)

இந்த்ரிய சுகம் தன்னில் முத்துக்குளித்தேன்
பற்றுக்கோடு இல்லாமல் சுற்றி திரிந்தேன்
பொருளே பெரிதென்று தேடி அலைந்தேன்
வாழ்வின் அர்த்தம் புரியாமல் என்னைத் தொலைத்தேன்
யார் செய்த புண்ணியமோ உன்னை அடைந்தேன்
வாழ்க்கை எனும் தத்துவத்தை அறிந்து கொண்டேன்
( நடமாடும் தெய்வம்)

 

Indriya sukham thannil muthu kulithen

Pathukodu illammal  chuthri  thirinthen

Porule perithendru thedi alaithen

Vaazhvin artham puriyaml yennai  tholaithen

Yaar cheitha punniyamo unnai  adainthen

Vaazhkkai yenum  thathuvathai arinthu  konden ( Nadamaadum devivam)

 

I searched  for pearls in pleasure of sense  organs

Without any attachment I wandered

Thinking  that wealth is important I wandered  searching

Without understanding meaning of life, I lost myself

I don’t know the result of whose blessed deeds, I reached

I understood meaning of philosophy of life  (The  moving God)
