Kallukkul  theraikkum , karuppai  uyirukkum

Oorum yerumbirkkum padiyalakkum

 

She who always  feeds , to the  fungus in the stone

To the life in the womb, and the ant  which crawls

சோலை வனத்தில் பூக்களாய் மலர்பவள் பாலை வனத்தில் அருள்மழை பொழிபவள்

சாதிமத மொழியின பேதங்கள் இல்லை அன்னையின் அன்பிற்கோர் எல்லையும் இல்லை

 

Solai vanathil pookkalai  malarbhaval

Paalai  vanathil  arulmazhai  pozhibhava;

Jathi madha mozhiyin  bedhangal illai

Annayin anbukkor  yellayum  illai

 

She who makes  flowers  open in the garden

She  who rains  blessings  in the desert

For her no difference due to caste , religion and language

There is no limit to the affection of mother
