Koti manmatha
roopan , sri raman,
Kumudha vizhi
malanthe, amudha kani mozhivaan.
Pallavi
He is sri Rama who
has the form of one crore of cupids
,
Opening his lotus like , he will speak like a fruit of nectar.
Anupallavi
Naadum anbar
ullam serum marayaii
nindraan,
Dheena saranyam ,
devi seethai manavalan.
Anupallavi
He stood like the Vedas
which are desired by the mind of
friends,
He is the protector of
those who suffer and consort of
Goddess Sita.
Charanam
THol kandaar thole kandaar ,
Thaal kndaar thale kandaar ,
Mameru malai Anaya thiru marbu kandaar,
Seer migu pon
sevadiyum kinginiyum ,
Paar pugazh nayaganin
pallandu paadum
Charanam
Those who saw is shoulders saw only his shoulders..
Those who saw his feet , saw only his feet,
They saw his chest which was like the Maha meru mountain,
And his very
auspicious golden feet and anklets ,
Would sing “long live”
to that lord who is praised by the world.
