Magalaathanothu    Madhu sudana sadaa

Ganga  dharoopi thava  saapi Gangaa

 

May always good be brought to you, By  Killer of Madhu

By Lord Shiva as well  as river  Ganga

 

Anupallavi

Sringara  Varidhe, sri vathsa  kausthubhaa

Langaara  Shishu  BHava Bhaya  Vibhanga

 

Oh ocean of  passion,who is decorated  by  Srivahsa and Kausthubha

Who is a baby, who removes   the sensation of  fear

 

Charanam

1.Asthu they bhadra miha dusthara bhavambodhi

Visthara bhayaapaha hara vasthu sukhadha

Kasthurika thilaka vistheerna phaala Jaga-

Dasthidha padhaka sadhaastha rahitha

 

May you be safe , Oh one who destroys   the fear  of,

The unbearable and wide   ocean of Samsara, who grants happiness

He who has musk thilaka  on his wide  forehead,He who makes

Unreal world appear real, He who is  always there

 

2.Aksheena sampadhiha rakshahu dhareyam-Adha

Sikshathu hari sthava vipaksha  nichayam

Dakshina moorthirapi daakkshinyamaavahathu

Veekshathaam thwaam sakala  saakshi  sadayam

 

Let this earth with undwindling assets  protect   you

Let Lord Hari destroy all the   collection of your enemies

Let Lord Dakshinamurthy grant you power to do all things

Let the witness of all carefully watch and protect you

 

3.Durgaani vaarayathu, durga  saraswathi

Bhargopi bharjayathu papa  varga

Sargaadhi sakala  samsarga   saadhakam- iha

Maargathavaavathu thavapa vargam

 

Let Durga   and sarasvathi remove all your   difficulties

Let the god of fire burn all collection of sins

Let   all  your behavioud end up as good,

And let your path  be one   which is painless

 

4.Paripoorna bodha rasa paripandhi sarasa

Niravadhika   sampadham   dhisathu  bhoomaa

Virachithamithandhu Shiva  Narayanananda

Theerthena   parama purushartha   phalinaa

 

He who has complete  knowledge, he who destroys   enemies

Let the  Goddess eath grant you various   type of treasures
