This song was composed by one Tamil Lady Saint Aavudaiyakkal (ஆவுடையக்காள்) lived about 350 years back. She is regarded equivalent to Avvayyaar, Karaikkal Ammaiyar, AkkamaaDevi etc. History says that She has composed many simple verses which were close to Sri Subramanya Bharathi’s heart. Koti vedantha sasthram vicharithu paathu naan vijnana maakayilum
Ajnana, pokkiye prakjnanam thanthu sujnanamaakayilum
Even The karma that we have earned which has been accumulated, is without dirt,
While we with joy eat the limitless taste without limit
after enquiring one crore of vedantha
