Varu  veeru anusu  choodaka thanu ava,

Varigaa  abheeshtamula  nosangusu

Without making any difference between people ,

She went on  giving all the desired  objects

1.Dura muna noka thavuna , garjana , bhee-

Karamoga thavuna, nindu karuna tho,

Nirathamuganoka thavuna nadusuka ,

Vara Cauvery Kanyaka mani

1.In one place   rotaing  very swiftly,

In another place making fearful roaring sound ,

In some other place going slowly   with great mercy,

Goes the  blessed Cauvery  , the gem of  maid.

2.Vedugaaga  kokilalu maroyaganu,

Veduga rAngesuni   choosi  mari yi-,

Redu , jagamulaku , jeevanamaina,

Moodu  rendu nadhi nadhuni chooda.

2.With koels singing in a sweet note,

After seeing lord of SriRanga and saluting him,

It had come to see the lord of the five rivers ,

Who is  the life of the  fourteen worlds.

3.Raja Rajeswariyanu  pogadusu,

Jaji   sumamula   daramara  Ganamulu,

Poojaliru gadala  seyaga  Thyagaraja

SAnnuthuralai   mudhuka

3.The crowd of Brahmins  , standing  on both your bangs.

Praising Rajarajeswari, worship you  with ,

Jathi malli flowers, being praised by Thyagaja and with great beauty
