pallavi: Give me a boon , Goddess of
Speech! Let me adore your lotus feet, oh goddess.
caraNam 1: With your moonlike face
and smile, shining pearl rings in your ear, and your sparkling teeth, stay in
my heart, Oh Lotus-eyed Angel!
caraNam 2: You have the splendour of ten million suns , you reside in
the hearts of the great poets, you are the adored queen of the son of kaaginele
AdikEshava (that is, you are the consort of Brahma, son of Vishnu)
