పల్లవి

ఎంతవిభవము  నంతయును ఆపదని

చింతించినదిగదా చెడని జీవనము

eMthaviBavamu galige naMthayunu Apadani

chiMtiMchinadigadA cheDani jIvanamu

How much is the prosperity, all is only danger

Mulled over that, is the Untarnished Life.

చరణం 1

చలము గోపంబు దను జంపేటిపగతులని

తెలిసినది యదిగదా తెలివి

తలకొన్న పరనింద తనపాలి మృత్యువని

తొలగినది యదిగదా తుదగన్నఫలము

chalamu gOpaMbu danu jaMpETipagathulani

thelisinadi yadigadA thelivi

thalakonna paraniMda tanapAli mRuthyuvani

tholaginadi yadigadA thudagannaPalamu

Worry and anger are (one’s own) lethal courses

Realizing that, is it not the Intellect!

Intending to blame others is death on his (own) part

Vanishing that, is it not the Final Fruit!

మెరయువిషయములే తనమెడనున్న వురులుగా

యెరిగినది యదిగదా యెరుక

పరివోనియాశ తను బట్టుకొను భూతమని

వెరచినది యదిగదా విజ్ఞానమహిమ

yeriginadi yadigadA yeruka

parivOniyAsa tanu baTTukonu BhUtamani

veracinadi yadigadA vij~jAnamahima

Glittering things are only nooses on his neck

Knowing that, is it not the Knowing!

Strapping desire is the devil that one catch

Fearing that is it not the Glory of Wisdom!

యెనలేని తిరువేంకటేశుడే దైవమని

వినగలిగినదిగదా వినికి

అనయంబు నతని సేవానందపరులయి

మనగలిగినదిగదా మనుజులకు మనికి

yenalEni tiruvEMkaTESuDE daivamani

vinagaliginadigadA viniki

anayaMbu natani sEvAnaMdaparulayi

managaliginadigadA manujulaku maniki

The Unsurpassed Sri Venkatesha is the God

Hearing that, is it not the real Hearing!

Indulging always in the delight of His service

Persisting is it not the lasting for Humans!!
