MUDDUGAARE YASHODA – ముద్దుగారే యశోద
[In this kirtana, Annamayya is comparing the sports of Lord Sri Krishna
with the nine precious gems.]

ముద్దుగారే యశోద ముంగిటి ముత్తెము వీడు
తిద్దరాని మహిమల దేవకీ సుతుడు
MuddugArE yashOda mumgiTi mutthemu vIdu
thiddarAni mahimala daevakI suthudu
In the quad of Yashoda, the prettiness
pouring Pearl is He!
The son of Devaki with unpracticable
marvels!

అంత నింత గొల్లెతల అరచేతి మాణికము
పంతమాడే కంసుని పాలి వజ్రము
కాంతుల మూడు లోకాల గరుడ పచ్చ బూస
చెంతల మాలో నున్న చిన్ని కృష్ణుడు
aMtha niMtha gollethala arachEthi mANikamu
paMthamAdae kamsuni pAli vajramu
kAMthula mUdu lokAla garuda pachcha bUsa
cheMthala mAlo nunna chinni kRshNudu
(He is) Much of the Ruby
in the palm of milkmaids!
(He is) the Diamond on
part of persistent Kamsa!
(He is) The lustrous
Emerald bead of three worlds!
(He is) Child Krishna
near within us!

రతికేళి రుక్మిణికి రంగు మోవి పగడము
మితి గోవర్ధనపు గోమేధికము
సతమై శంఖ చక్రాల సందుల వైడూర్యము
గతియై మమ్ము గాచేటి కమలాక్షుడు

బద్మ నాభుడు
kAliMguni talalapai gappina pushyarAgamu
YElEti ShrI vEMkatAdri yiMdranIlamu
pAla jalanidhi lOna bAyani divya rathnamu
bAlunivale dirigI badma nAbhudu
