Isai paadi unnai vazhipada vendum-Yellaa
Disayilum nindru arul thanthidum deviye
We have to worship by singing songs-oh Goddess
Who stands on all directions and gives blessings

Devarkal , munivarkal thediya padham-antha
Moovarum , nalvarum pothiya padham
Poovayar thudhithidum poorana padham-Indha
Bhoomiyai kaathida pootha nar padham
The feet searched by devas and the sages,
That feet praised by the trinity and four sages
The complete feet prayed to by women
The good feet that flowered to protect the earth

Samayathil vanthudan sathiyam cherkkum
Muthenum punnagai mugizhnthida cheyyim- Durgai
Chitharin chinthayil chiranthe aadum
Become Saming and Shiva it will end all sorrows,
Coming at good time it will add truth
It will make pearl like smile surround you
It will dance specially in thought of Durgai chithar
