Pallavi

Will he come? Will he give me boons?
Oh Lord now my mind is very nervous.

Anupallavi

The Thiruchithampalavanar of Then puliyoor appeared,
In my dreams and cleared my doubts as a teacher,
And told that he would cut off the two types of illness,
And told me, not to be afraid.

Charanam

1. Am I not the one who believed in the blessed feet of,
The impeccable Nataraja who rules the Vedas,
And chanted the mantra called “Shiva Chidambaram”,
So that he would think that I am his slave and come to bless me.

2. To see his strong chests, with red locks of hair,
This prayer saluting him with a willing mind was made,
And oh merciful one, The Ocean of my sins is often ebbing.
And would these ebbing stop and I can climb to the shore.
