English translation
Pallavi
If you longingly call Lord Subrahmanya as,
The young man who stood on the divine mountain,
He would give reply to what you want.
Anupallavi
He would open his flower like eyes and bless us,
And for those who do blessed deeds,
He would come in front of their eyes.
Charanam
The God whom two goddesses loved,
The God who is the son of God who was adorned by the moon,
The king who was sung about by all great poets,
The Lord Shanmuga who rides on the golden peacock.
