Pallavi
Oh the purest one Oh daughter,
Of the king of mountains, Oh mother
Anupallavi
She who is worshipped by devas and Kinnaras,
She who is the source of all good characters,
She who is Lalitha, who holds in her hands,
Noose, goad, flowers, small arrow and sugarcane bow,
She who is Kamakshi who lives in Kanchipura.
Charanam
She with a pure heart, whose feet is worshipped by Ganapathi,
She who holds the gem studded Veena sitting on a lotus,
She who is the greatest Goddess, who protects her devotees,
She who always gives results to those who pray her,
She who tied and subdued Rakshasas like Mahisha,
And she who destroys asuras in the bevy of enemies.
