Mathava munivargal vandhirukkum thillai,
Vanathil anu dinamum valarum Ambalavaa

Annal Gopalakrishnan paniyum, thiru,
Ambala mevum ponnambala Vana.
English translation
Pallavi
Sufficient, sufficient, this birth that I have taken
Anupallavi
Oh God of the temple who grows in the Chidambaram,
Forest where great sages have come.
Charanam
The god of the golden temple which,
Is saluted by Lord Gopalakrisna.
