Alai payum kadaloram, arul thokai  mayilada,
Silayaana 
shiva   shanmukha   chendhil
Near  the ocean
with beating waves, when the peacock  wings
dances,
Oh  Shiva Shanmuka
of Thiruchendur    who became a  statue
Anupallaavi
Kalayaatha arulodu, kavi paadi  yenai aanda,
Malayandi   guha
shanmukha-priya shanmukha
With stable blessings singing poem , ruling over me,
Oh Andi of the temple Oh Guha  , Oh shanmukha, dear  shanmukha
Charanam
Marai  paadum
deviyum , malayaalum  chelviyum ,
Iraiva  , un
sukhamallavaa,
Niraivaana 
selvamum , nilai aayul sidhiyum,
Viraivaaka  
yenakku   eendhavaa   (alai paayum..)
Are not   a goddess 
singing Vedas  , and  a girl ruling over  the mountain,
Oh God  , your
pleasure,
Oh God, who speedily 
gave Large wealth  , stable
life   and powers, to me.

amarnthalum –oru veedu  manam

Iraiva  , yen manam
yerinaai
Thiruvaana azhakaa, thirumalin  marukaa,
Kuruvaana 
chiruvaa, udane  nee  varuvai
Though you sit  in
six houses, Oh  God  , thinking,
That mind  is your
house  , you  climbed there,
Oh God   with
divine  beauty, Nephew  of Lord Vishnu ,
Oh mischievous  boy, Please
