The lyrics of this song is given at  the   end of a Tamil Book on Devi Bhagwatham published  by Lifco publishers. The song prays for   the  prosperity, comfort and long life of the people and prosperity   of our country.)

Jannulakella  appudu    saukhyamudutha  (srirasthu...)

Let   the shortage  of houses vanish, let  number of dresses  increase,

So that   all  people  live   with great   comfort (Let there be..)

6.Aahaara  dhanyamulu  aparimithmmulai,

Bharatha bhoomiyanthu pandusunudutha(srirasthu...)

Let    the food and cereal  production increase too  much,

And let    the land of India      produce  large amount   of fruits  (let there be...)

[Selasu is a kind of tree. Its trunk is used to make bows. mOra means snout of an animal. So the meaning is the one who has a snout as hard as a snout]

With Fangs curvy chain-like (Narasimha), He appeared

On this Earth look O’ little elder sister!

అంతరాంతరములెంచిచూడ పిండంతే నిప్పటి అన్నట్లు

How one thinks of You, You are just that (You are of the Enormity as one realizes You)

By scrutinizing the reflections, the number of Nippats (a savory) is what the amount of the dough is!

Tha Kapalikas admire (Thee) with excitement as Adi Bhairava

[Vaishnavas =  worshippers of Lord Vishnu;  Shaivas = (followers of Lord Shiva)

దరిమల మిమునే ఘనమని తలచిన ఘన బుద్ధులకు ఘనుడవు

Sirula MimunE alpa buddhi talachinavAriki alpambaguduvu

The Shakteyas truly believe Thee to be the appearance of Shakti

The views (philosophies) about Thee are varied; (They) pray Thee according to (their) likeness

For the trivial-minded worldly thinkers, You look trivial

Divergently For the great-minded who conceive Thy grandeur, Thou art Grand

[Shaakteyas =  worshippers of Shakthi;  Shaivas = (followers of Lord Shiva)
