Pallavi: nInE anAtha bandhu kAruNya sindhu

Charanams:

1: patigaLaivriddarEnu
satiya bhanga bidisalilla
gati nInE mukunda enalu
ati vEgadi akShayavitte krShNa

2: madagajavella kUDidarEnu
adara samayakodagalilla
madananayya madhusUdana enalu
mudadindali bandodagide krShNa

3: shileya meTTi kulake tande
balige olidu padaviyitte
sulabhadi bhaktara salahuva namma
celuva purandara viTTalarAya

Meaning:
Pallavi: You alone are the kinsman in need), (you are) a fountain head of kindness

Charanams:
1: what if there were five husbands [story of Draupadi],
(they) did not relieve the torment of their wife;
(but when she) cried ‘Mukunda you are my only hope’,
(you ) very quickly gave her an unending drape.

2: What if all the rutting elephants gathered together (to help him)
(they) were of no avail to him at that time;
(when he) called out ‘O MadhusUdana, O Father of madana’,
(you) lovingly came and rescued him, O KrSNa.

3: (you) stepped on on the stone and brought (Ahalya) back to the community,
you were kind to king Bali and rewarded him;
(you are) our handsome purandaraviThala,
the one who easily protects his devotees.
