Chandra Shekara who is the God and Lord of all beings,
Who is Shankara who decorates his head with a moon,

Bhasma booshana bhaktha paalana
Girijaa ramanaa hara shambo shankara (Vara Chandrashekara)
He wears ash as ornament and looks after his devotees,
Darling of Girija , the destroyer, the Shambu and Shankara.
