(For quite some time I was busy with translation of stotras. In march  first week I decided that  I would translate   Carnatic Krithis   for some time , though I had translated earlier about 2000 krithis  , In these 17 days  , I have translated   the following hundred Krithis (1 from Hindi  , 3 from Kannada , one written in Manipravalam,  28 written in Sanskrit , 23 from Telugu and 46 from Tamil)  . 2.Oh queen of Sabesa who wears    young moon   on his red matted hair ,
Who  great poison standing in his heart  and  who tells sweet   tamil words  ,
If you did you   not hear my   words   due to the sound of   your pretty anklets  making more sound,
Why would I tell you   your story   and so please from now  on bless me after  hearing my words.

3.Manju adar thennam cholayum  kanja malar poootha   adaviyum,
Manjal , kathali, inji , mattu urunji pala kaniyum,
Ranjitham ongum yengal anju nadikku arasaagiya,
Vanchi UMadasan  thudikkum , sanjeevi aparanji  innamum

3.Oh  purest of gold   who is the medicine   for  all who is praised by  Vanchi Umadasan,
Who is the king   of the  area of five rivers  which is filled with  dew filled coconut gardens,
Forests where red flowers have opened   and    areas where   turmeric,
Banana, ginger   mangoes    as well  of  jack fruits.
(I did not get this Krithi in Tamil script  and I am not at all sure of my guess about third line-Umadasa  is the Mudhra)

Then unda   vandukalum  reenkaaram   seyyuthadi

The breeze from south blows   and sings   rustic   folk songs,
And the bees   which have drunk the honey  is making sound “Reem”

3.Raga:Deva  manohari
Anthi vaanam   sivanthathadi  , Alliyum malarnthathadi  ,
Azhagaana  mayil inamum   aadi kalipoottuthadi

The  sky of the  dusk has turned red  , The lily flowers have  opened,
And the pretty peacocks dance   and increase our joy.

Sonnapadi vanthiduven  endru sonna kandhanum,
Innum varavillayadi, enna kurai seithenadi.

The Skanda who has told  that  he would come as promised,
Still  has not come  , What wants of his I have not fulfilled.

Poom kuyil koovuthadi , punniyan varuvaan endru,
Pooritha yen ullam  Pongi magizhnthathadi.

The Koel of the flower is singing  and my over joyed mind,
Thinking that  blessed one would come  is ebbing with joy.

Kanavai ninaivakka kandanum vandharadi  ,
Kanni yennai anaithu   kaniyamudham thantharadi

To make my dream in to realty that  Skanda   has come,
And he embraced  this maid and gave me nectar  in my lips.
