Oh lord  of my soul quickly protect me

Vena ganamuche   badhiyaru,

Vela  gopikala   palinchi yele

Oh Lord who by the music of your flute,

Were ruling over  ten thousand Gopis

Kanna pinna  vandal kadupu ninji,

THinnagaa  velau divya roopamaa,

Stealing butter and milk cream  in a funny manner,

And filling up the stomach of little  boys  , this and that way,

And acting   as if you are innocent   and  honest,

Oh littlre boy Krisna , with mercy protect Thyagaraja.
