Avatharichu Bhavan dasarathannu thanayanaai

SahajaraamSAumithri bharatha sathrugnarodum

 

You took incarnation   as son to Dasaratha,

With brothers Saumithri , Bharatha  and Satrugna

 

Anupallavi

Avaniyil  dhanava badha yagathi, sura

Muni jana palanam hethuvai  Sripathe

 

Oh lord of sree t, to remove the trouble  of,

Raksgasa in this world  to devas  and saints  and to look after  them

Yaga rakshartham Gadhi nandanan than

Koode Lakshmanodu  gamichidave

Aagatha thataka subahwadhikale

Nigrahichu makham katha kripanidhe

 

For  protection  of yaga  along with son of Gadhi(Viswamithra)

When you were  going along with Lakshman.

Killing the  Thadaga  , subahu and others,

And you protected the world, Oh treasure  of mercy

Vazhiyil kidakkum aa silayil , ninthiruvadi

Pathiyave, Gauthama sathiyum unarnnal

Kazhilina  vanangi pathiyodu  chernnathum

Thava charanangalin amitha  prabhavam

 

When your  divine feet  stepped  on the stone ,

Which was lying in your path, the wife of Gauthama woke up

And saluted  your feet and joined  with her husband,

Shows   the great  power  of your feet.

 

AAnanda BHairavi

Mithila agathanai, karmukha bhedhanam

Cheithu, janaki karam pathiya pin

Padhi thannil bhargava ramannu subodham

Aruli , ayodhyayil  vanidum raghava

 

After  arriving in mithila  , after  breaking the bow

And after  getting married  to Janaki

And on the way after  teaching  good lessons,

To Parasurama, Oh Raghava  who lived  in Ayodhya

 

Hamsanandhi

Thatha vakhya  paripalanam  cheyyuvaan

Anujanum seethe deviyum  thudarave,

Mithra guha aadhithyam yethu chithrakootam

Thannil Bharathannu  padhuka aruliya vibho

 

For obeying   the words  of his father

Followed by younger brother  and Sita

Accepted  hospitality  of Friend Guha and oh lord

Who gave  his slippers   to  Bharatha

Athri bhardwajakalasajathi muni

Sathamar  vaazhthi dhivya  asthrangal  nalkave

Thathra pancha vatiyil Soorpanakhaa bangam nimitham

Khara  nidhanam cheithu, kodanda pane

 

When great sages Athri , Bharadwja  and Agasthya

Blessed  him and gave   him divine  arrows

In Panchavati due to disfiguring of Soorpanakha

Oh Lord having Kodanda in hand  you killed  Khara

 

Hamsa nadham

Chanchalaakshiye vanchanayal kondu

Pokum dasasyane thaduthi poruthiyathaal

Khanditha pakshanumai  pathicha paksheendrannum

Sabarikkum , kaivalyam aruliya dhaya nidhe, Sri Rama

 

She with  moving eyes was  taken by Ravana

By cheating and due   to preventing him and fighting

With his  wings being cut, the king of birds  fell down

And oh Rama treasure  of mercy who gave salvation to him and Sabari

Hanuma sangamathin karanathaal rishya

Mookha giri thannil Sugreevanumai

Anupama  sakhyam chithu Baliye

Hanichu ravijane  thunacha guna nidhe

 

Due to meting with Hanuman, on the ,

Rishya Mooka mountain with Sugreeva

After  signing a matchless  treaty, oh Treasure  of Good qualities

Who  killed  Vali  and helped the son of Sun God

 

Behag

Parannu kadal  kadannu langayil Asoka

Vanikayil jananiye kanda pavanajanum

Thiru mothiram nalki choodamaniyumai

Thirichu devi vritham unarthhinaan  maruthi

 

Flying and  crossing the oocean, in lanka,

In Asoka vana  the son of wind God   met  Sita(mother)

Gave her  the ring and along with  Choodamani

Maruthi returned to tell the news .

Vanara  badhamaam sethuvinaal, aazhi

Tharichu, rane dasa mukhane vadhichadhaa

Anagha  vibheeshanane lankadhipanaakki

Anala  poothayyam Maithiliyodum

 

Using the bridge  built by the monkey, crossing

The ocean, killed  Ravana  in the war,

And made matchless Vibheshana  as king of Lanka

And along with  Maithili   who came  out from fire

 

Madhyama kalam

Thirike vannu, sakethapuramathil

Vasishtadhi  munikalaal yadha vidhi.

Simhasanam abhishikthanai chiram

Dharma palanam  cheitha jagannadha

(avasanichu)

 

Came back to Sakethapura(Ayodhya)

And as per proper rituals, was crowned,

By Vasishta   and other sages And for  long,

Administered  the Dharma , Oh Jagan Nadha
