உனையல்லால்  ஒரு  தெய்வமும் உண்டோ

எனை என்றும்காக்கும் காஞ்சி முனியே

 

Unayallal  oru deivamum undo,

Yenai yendrum kaakkum kanchi muniye

 

Is there   any other God   except you,

Oh Saint  of Kanchi  , who protects me always

 

அனுஷத்தில்  அவதரித்த  அத்வைத  ரூபனே

அபயகரம்  கொண்டு  காத்திடும் ஓர்குருவே           (உனை)

 

Anushathil  avatharitha  advaitha  roopane

Abhayakaram  kondu kaathidum  oru guruve9Unai)

 

One who has the form of Advaitha  and born in Anusham  star

Oh   one  Guru who protects  me  using  his  hand of protection

 

தஞ்சம்  என  உன்னைச்  சரணடைந்தோர்தம்மைத்

தாயெனக் காக்கும்  தயா  நிதியே    (உனை)

 

Thanjam   yena  unnai  charanadainthor thammai

Thaayena kaakum   dhaya  nidhiye

 

To those   who surrendered to you, saying “you are  my  protection”

Oh treasure of mercy , who protects  them like mother

 

உலக  சுக  வாழ்வில்  பற்றினை  நீக்கியே

பற்றிட  அருள்  செய்வாய் உன் பாத  சரணத்தைப்; 

போதும்  போதும்  இனி  ஒரு  பிறவி

பிறவாப்  பெருவரம்  ஈந்திடுவாயே   (உனை)

 

Ulaga  sukha vaazhvil  paththinai  neekkiye

Paththida  arul cheivai, un padha  charanathai

Pothum pothum  ini oru  piravi

Piravaa  peru varam   eenthiduvaaye

 

Removing attachment in pleasure  filled  life of the world,

Please bless  us to   hold   your  feet

Sufficient , sufficient  , this one birth

Please give me  the great  boon of no births
