1.AAdhi ayanodu  devar  murayida, aasi tharuvathu  Hari namam

Aavi piriyum velai  , viraivil   aala varuvathu   Hari namam

When devas appealed to Lord Brahma, the name of Hari  gave them blessings

When the soul is about  to depart, that which comes  to rule you fast is name  of Hari

2.Othum adiyavar naavil  amudhena oori niraivathu  Hari namam

Olamidum   Gaja rajan   vidupada odi arulvathu  Hari Namam

In the toungue of devotees who are chanting, that which comes out is name of Hari

When the king of elephants   shouts for freedom, that which runs and frees him is name of Hari

3.Veda mudivilum , velvi mudivilum, mevi uraivthu Hari namam

Veesum alai kadal seshan nizhal cheyya, needu thugilvathu   hari namam

At the end of Vedas and at end of Fire sacrifice, That which flows out  is name of Hari

With adhisesha providing shade in sea with beating waves, that which sleeps long is name of Hari
