Yennennenamo  Kannanai   vannanai  padugirai,

Yellam arintha  vili vande

Why did you  come  and stay,

And sing  very many  things  about Lord Krishna,

Vanodu  maNNai alanthanai yen,

Manamodu uravaadi   kalavaadinaanai,
Vanara  kodiyon thozhan aanaanai  ,

Manai vaasal   yendra yellam thuranthu,

Ariyaathu  nindra adiyongal  munthi

He who measured  the earth along with sky  , he  who,

We, who have given up  our home  and properties,
