Protect me mother  of world, protect all  mother of universe,

She who has  lotus like eyes, She who lives in the lotus,

Oh very great doer of mercy, Oh Gauri protect all,

Oh Goddess pervaded with divinity, Bewitcher  of the world,

She who has face of equal graciousness and has  a universal form
