Kalala nerchina munu jesinadhi,

Gaka nemi aravai nalugu

Even  if one learns all the sixty four arts,

What else would happen other than based on past

Karuna joodave  gadupu kosamai

With very great desire    able to eat it,

Was  the brother of the enemy   (Vibheeshana)  able,

To take  Lord Ranganatha to Sri Lanka,

And so please  protect Thyagaraja   who is charming.
