Naa matalu vinavo, Rama,

Naa thalavralemo

Would you   not hear what I say,

Is this what has  been written in my  head.

Yachamayuvu sadbhakthiyu,

Yekantha chithamu,

Susareera mosange ba-

Sura  Thyagaraja  nuth.

Oh lord  who grants me life span , fame  , good devotion,

A mind that is merged in you  and a good healthy body,

Who is being saluted  by the very lustrous Lord Shiva.
