Dhe  samyamamma  mayamma

Oh  goddess mother Thulasi  , this is ,

The  proper   time to protect me, my mother

Anupallavi

Pavani  Brhamendradhulu  nee,

Bhakthi che  vilasillarata  Maha

Anupallavi

Oh putre one  , Brahma, Indra and others ,

Got fame due to their devotion to you.

Neevu leka  SAnkari mara manudu ,

Neerajaadhula  nolladata,

Nevu  leka theerthamu  , sevinchuda,

Neeranuchu   peraye nada,

Neevu leka   thrasuna   sri Hari   sari,

Nilavaga   Bhasenada  ,

Neevu leka   vana malani  Balkeraa,

Nee sari  evare  Thyagaraja nutha maha

Oh Sankari  , Lord Vishnu  does not accept  flowers like lotus   without you,

The sacred waters drunk without your leaf  are only ordinary water  ,

Without you on the Balance that  Lord Krishna   did not stand equal,

And does the forest garland made   without you   become a real garland,

Who is  there equal to you , Oh Goddess whose   devotee is Thyagaraja
