Oh Govinda who lifted  Govardhana mountain,
Oh Divine joy who took care  of  Gokula

Anupallavi
Sri vathsangitha   , Sri kousthubha dara,
pavaka  bhaya hara  pahi mukunda

Anupallavi
Oh God who  had Sri Vathsa on him and  wears the Kausthubha,
Please destroy fears of  good people   and protect me Mukunda

Charanam

1,Puruhutha maka vikata , suchathura, purushothama puruia jagat uddara

Meru bhoori dhariya  agavidhura minaketu  shatha  koti sarera

 

Invoked by many  , very handsome  , very clever, greatest  among males, he who improves  all world

He  who killed   the expert aghasura  as big as meru   entire Meru, and had a body as pretty as hundred crore manmathas

 

2.Amitha kalyana guna, aganitha leelaa, apaimitha  ananda, Ghana  anandha  bala

SAmitha daithaya damba,  santhyadhi moola ,vimala manasa vruthi vilasitha  shala

 

The boy   with  excess  good qualities,  with innumerable sports, with limitless  joy, sang with joy

Who puts an end to pride of  asuras, who is root  of qualities like peace,has pure  mind, and who is the  well known dancer

 

3.Vahatojaka  danda koti ,istha vedam,  varada ,  kim adbhutham achalendra  vahanam                            

Mahaneeya  krithim avakasi, dehi mudham  maha vanam, madhapana yasi  ghanam

 

One who was punished lot  for stealing from vessels, who likes Vedas , who gave boons, where is wonder  in his case when he lifted king of mountains

Who owned   great deeds, Please  grant  me joy  , who sang music  due to enthusiasm in great   forest

 

4.Ananda amritha varidhi,  kela alaku,  parakrama anupama leelaa

Sri Nandhathmaja, sritha  jana paala, shringara kishalaya laalana  lola

 

He who is  ocean of nectar like joy, who played with his hair as a sports  did  comparison less  valour

Who was son of Nanda, looked after those who depended on him , who was interested in plays by making  passion sprout

 

5.Pathitha Sura Ripu , Padapa brinda,Pavana charithaParamrutha kanda,

Natya rasothkata Nanabharana, Narayana theertha   rachitha harana

 

 

He who felled the enemy of devas using  a  cluster of trees,

He who has a nectar like story  which is holy all over the world,

He who  is interested in dancing   and wears various  ornaments,

He whose feet  has been sung about by Narayana Theertha
