Naan marai sara Omkara swaroopa,
Mamayil vahanane , swami prathapa

Charanam

Velli malai nathan, Gowri Bala,
Veru thunai kaanen , Vandu yenai aalay,
Valli , Devayanai manala , Dayala,
Vanangum Ramadasan thalai ani thalaa.

English translation

Pallavi

Nephew of Lord Vishnu, six headed one, Muruga, Guha

Anupallavi

Oh God who has the form of “Om” and
Is the meaning of four Vedas,
Oh God who rides the big peacock,
Oh God who is greatly famous.

Charanam

Oh son of the Lord of silver mountain and Gowri,
I do not see any other help , please come and rule over me,
Oh merciful one, Oh consort of Valli and Devayanai,
Oh god whose feet is touched by the head of saluting Hanuman.
