Yaake bhandhayo, jeeva yaakee bandhee, yi,

Lokatha   anubhava bekayithe ninage

Why did you come oh being, Why did you come

Did you need to experience  this world

Charana

1.Meru parvathathalli varana  vandhanaagi,

Maa  ramanana aaraadhayane bittu

Just like an elephant  coming  to Meru mountain,

Leaving the  worship of lord  Krishna 

2.Unnu unnu unnu , unnu, mathe  unnu,

Hennu hennu, hennu, mannu  thanna thenthu nimbi  yaage

Eat, eat, eat, eat, again eat,

Woman, woman woman

And earth , believing  all these  are yours,

3.Aadathellayithu, hodha  mathukal   yaage,

Sridhara  , vijaya vitalena  bhajisithiru

Whatever hashapopened  has happened,

What is the need for matters  which are past
