[Annamacharya is praising Lord Vishnu in this kriti.]

పల్లవి
వందే  వాసుదేవం  శ్రీపతిం
బృందారకాధీశ  వందిత పదాబ్జం
vaMdE vAsudEvaM shrIpathiM
bRuMdArakAdhISa vaMdita padAbjaM

I Bow to the Son of Vasudeva! To the Lord of Sri (Goddess Lakshmi)!
To the Lotus-Feet worshipped by the Lord of heavenly beings (Indra)!

చరణం 1
ఇందీవరశ్యామ మిందిరాకుచతటీ-
చందనాంకిత లసత్చారు దేహం
మందార మాలికామకుట సంశోభితం
కందర్పజనక మరవిందనాభం
iMdIvaraSyAma miMdirAkuchataTI-
chaMdanAMkita lasatchAru dEhaM
maMdAra mAlikAmakuTa saMSOBitaM
kaMdarpajanaka maraviMdanABaM

To the Dark-Complexioned as the Moon-Bestowed (Blue Lily)!
To the Lustrous Beautiful Body, marked with sandal paste from Indira’s (Goddess Lakshmi, shines like the Moon) shore of bossom!
To the Luminous with the crown of Mandara flowers!
[Mandara flowers = Shoe Flowers /China roses /Hibiscuss]
To the Father of Kandarpa (One with awful pride = Manamadha)! To the Lotus-Navelled!

చరణం 2
ధగధగ కౌస్తుభ ధరణ వక్షస్థలం
ఖగరాజ వాహనం కమలనయనం
నిగమాదిసేవితం నిజరూపశేషప-
న్నగరాజ శాయినం ఘననివాసం
dhagadhaga kaustuBa dharaNa vakShasthalaM
KagarAja vAhanaM kamalanayanaM
nigamAdisEvitaM nijarUpaSEShapa-
nnagarAja SAyinaM GananivAsaM

To the Chest, shines brightly from ornamenting Koustubha (The celebrated jewel of Lord Vishnu)!
[Kustubha=ocean. Koustubha means Born from the Ocean]
To The Bird King-Vehicled (Lord Vishnu’s moves on Garuda)! To the Lotus-eyed!
To the One, all scriptures praise! To the One who reclines
on the bed of Serpent King (Adi Sesha), His own form!
To the Grand-Dweller (of Vaikuntah)!!

చరణం 3
కరిపురనాథసంరక్షణే తత్పరం
కరిరాజవరద సంగతకరాబ్జం
సరసీరుహాననం చక్రవిభ్రాజితం
తిరు వేంకటాచలాధీశం భజే
karipuranAthasaMrakShaNE tatparaM
karirAjavarada saMgatakarAbjaM
sarasIruhAnanaM cakraviBrAjitaM
tiru vEMkaTAcalAdhISaM BajE

To the One, readily rescued King of Karipura (Parikshit)!
[Parikshit was the king of Hastinaapura. Kari = Elephant; Pura=City. / Hasti = Elephant; Pura = City. Karipura / Hastinapura = City of Elephants.
Lord Vishnu readily came into Parikshit as he was seeking for help, suffering from the effect of Brahmasthra, when he was in his mother’s womb]
To the Lotus-Like hands, bestowed boons on the King of Elephants (Gajendra)!
To the Lake Born (Lotus)-Faced! To the Radiant from the Chakra (Lord Vishnu’s disk like weapon)!
To the Lord of Sri Venkatachala I Pray!!
