Sri Gayathri devi   , sanathani , sevaka jana  susreyo  dhayini

Pallavi
Oh  goddess Gayathri  , who  is perennial  ,
And who    gives    good fame   to those   who serve her.

Anupallavi
Vag adhipathi   surendra poojithe  , vara dhayaki, pancharadhane  , Suvasini

Anupallavi
Oh Goddess   worshipped by Lord Brahma   and king  Indra,
Who gives  boons , who is worshipped in five different ways and  who is a Sumangali

Charanam
Raga dwesha   rahitha antharanga hithe  , rathna kanchitha  mani hara  mandithe  ,
Rasa yutha   sangeetha modhithe, raghavadhi  bhaktha rakshana   charithe

Oh Goddess with a mind without hatread and  attachment  ,
Who wears   a garland   studded    with gems,
Who is  happy to hear  music which   is full of  delight ,
And who has  the history  of  protecting   devotees  like Rama.
