Oh mother why
this neglect on me who has fallen down,
And is in the
control of others.

Niaadaramu neeve
jesithe ney sahimpa tharama

If you yourself
are neglecting ,
Is it possible
for me to bear it.

Maraalajitha
mandha gamani mahadeva mathi
ranjitha Vadani,
Niramaye neeradha shyamale
nithya kalyana Gunalaye.

Oh Goddess who has
a slow gait winning over the swan
,
Who has a face
which makes Mahadeva peaceful,
Oh Divie one who is the colour of the cloud ,
And who is the
temple of day in and day out good qualities.
