Prasada  janye, Praharsha  lasithe,

Oh Goddess  with  pleasing looks   who   blesses with boons ,

Who fills me with joy  , who makes  happiness   grow  in me  ,

And who   played   with  thrill  of joy.

Anupallavi

Prapanna  rakshaa  nirathe  , mahthe ,

Prapancha  mathe  , Sri Shiva dhayithe  .

Oh Goddess  who is busy protecting her  devotees  , Oh great one  ,

Oh  mother  of the world  , Oh darling  of Lord Shiva.

Prakasa poorithamakkuka  sathatham,

Prabodha  nilaye  , manmathi Sadanam ,

Yen vazhi   janiyum  vilakkidavu  ,

Nin vara jatha  thoonilaavaal.

Oh Goddess  who stays   in my wisdom,

Please  always  light up , the house  of my intellect  ,

And by  the blessed   pure moon light  you create  ,

You can light   up   the way   to my growth.
