Pallavi
Gana nayagan   thunayaguvaan,
Gandharva   veda sangeetham pada

Pallavi
The chief of the Ganas will assist you,
To sing  the Gandharva Veda   music

Anupallavi
Phaniraja  , kankana pani  ,
SAnkara thanaya   mangala karaka

Anupallavi
He who wears the king of snakes  as bangle in his hand,
Who is son of Lord Shiva    and one who grants auspiciousness.

Charanam
AAdhara sruthi neengaamale,
Anniyarkal paani  vaaramale,
Kedara Ragam , Gambheera ragam,
Ketta pinnar  Mayai ongamake

Charanam
Without   the basic sruthi giving way,
Without the style of others creeping in ,
After hearing the Kedara Raga,
Which is a majestic Raga,  and without   the hallucination diminishing.
