1.Soola pasa drutha   bada jalamula  joochi  mari  mee,
KOlahalamu   ludugu   kala maaye  nanasu.

1.Seeing his  lot of assistants holding  spear   and  rope, saying,
Now the time to  end all  the    great activity has  come to an end

2.Varidhi soshimpa   jeyu  kroora Kumbha jooni   reethi,
GHora narakaadhula   nanasu , tharaka  mamanu  thalsi

2.Like the cruel sage Agasthya who had made   the ocean dry,
Thinking about  thE tharaka nama  which could even pacify the horrifying hells

3. Daari theliya   leka   thirugu varalaina salunantee,
SArarmani THyagaraju   sankeerthanamu   padaranusu

3.Without knowing the path to salvation wandering here and there,
They thing that the songs of Thyagaraja are  meaningful and then singing it.
