Pallavi
Ayiram, ayiram gopiyarkalodu nata aadi,
Vilayadi vArum aananda Krishnan

Pallavi
That joyful Krishna   who danced  with,
Thousands and thousands  of Gopis  anf played with them.

Anupallavi
Neyamodu   yennai  avan   naadi vandhu  nindriduvan,
Neela  varna  Kannan , avan kola kuzhal  oothi nindran.

Anupallavi
He would  come in search of me and stand before me ,
That blue coloured Krishna  , he stood there playing  the flute.

Charanam
Konjum chalangalolikka   Vanjiyayarin  veettu ,
Thayir palai yellam   undu pasu pole olindu nindran,
Anji nindru   adiyum pattu  annayum   viyanthidave,
Anda  characharam   pavala  vayil  kattiduran.

Charanam
With anklets making jingling sould  , he went to house of ladies,
And ate away   all the curd and milk   and hid himself like a  cow,
And then he tolerated the beatings by his mother and making her wonder ,

He would show all moving and not moving  beings of   the world  in his mouth.
