Ninnu naminannau , janani, bruhan nayaki

Kanna thalli kathaa, karuna chesi ,
Nannu kaava vegame rave,
Kamala lochani Amba.

Sankari , sambhavi, Gauri , dushta chanda Munda,
Asura vairi, mangala dhayini , Mani Harikesapura rani ,
Sankatamu teerchi brovu , sakala loka palini.
English Translation
Pallavi
I kept my faith in you , mother , great leader
Anupallavi
Are you not my own mother , take pity,
And come very quickly to protect me,
Oh mother who has lotus like eyes.
Charanam
Oh sankari, Oh Sambhavi , Oh Gauri , the enemy ,
Of asuras called Chanda and Munda ,
Oh giver of auspiciousness, Oh gem, Of queen of Harikesa,
