Vandana Jesithi vanaja bhavuni rani

Anupallavi
Mankihya makuta bhooshana vilasithe,
Maakku indhu manjula vakkulu nosagave

Samastha vidhya dhana nipune,
Saktha bhaktha kalpage shyamale,
Nithye, Nirmale, Nadha rasike,
Nidhipradhe Varadhe Shubhadhe sri

Charanam
Charuhasini Jaganamohini sam-
Sara thapa samani Sugandhini,
SArasa vasini samaja gamani,
SAradhe , Kalyani samsrithahladhini

Madhyama Kalam
Davalambara shobhithe Saradhe,
Dara hasithanane Chandra Vadane,
Suruchira vangmaye Kumuda priye,
Sira thraya saha pradhe , Shubhadhayini

English translation

Pallavi
Oh Saraswathi who holds the Veena ,
I salute you the queen of God who rose from lotus

Anupallavi
Oh Goddess who shines in the crown made of rubies,
Please provide us today with very sweet words.

Madhyama kalam
She who is an expert in giving all arts,
The Black one who is a wish giving tree to her devotees,
She who is forever, She who is pure and she who enjoys music,
She who is a treasure, she who blesses , she who does good acts and She who is Lakshmi


Charanam
She who has a pretty laugh, She who bewitches the universe,
She who takes away pain of the people of the world,
She who smells good, She who lives on lotus flower,
She who goes to Sama Veda, She who is autumnal,
She who does auspicious things, and makes all happy.

Madhyama Kalam
She who shines in white cloth, She who is like autumn,
She who wears a smile , she who has moon like face ,
She who tells sweet words , she who likes lotus flowers,
She who is the consort of three headed God , She who gives good things.
