Viruthan vadivedutha valli manavalanadi,

Pallavi
Oh friend, kandhan is only mine,
He is the son of most merciful Shivakami

Oh friend, He is the one who removes past Karmas,
He is the one who protects the three worlds,
He is the one who rides on peacock and ,
Told the meaning of the chant “Om”

Oh friend he is the valorous hunter who did miracles,
He is the one who came as an old man and married Valli,
He is the Velan who dances in our thoughts,
