Pavi parayan intha ooril vandhum ivan, pavam theereno,
Padhathil chereno, yerono , Shivalokanatha

Theradiyil irunthu darisithaal podum,
Kovil vara maaten Iye ,
Oradi vilaginal podum yinge nindru,
Uthu parka chathe vilagalakatho

English translation

Pallavi
Like a mountain one cow is lying down,
And is hiding my view

Anupallavi
Has not the sin of this debased sinner gone,
In spite of coming to this town,
Would I not join his feet, Would I not attain salvation , Oh Lord of Shivaloka

Charanam
It is sufficient if I see from the Chariot stand,
I will not come in to the temple , Sir,
If you move one feet it would be sufficient,
For me to stare at the lord, would you slightly move.
