Moolad hara murthy Gaja mukhane,
SAranam ninadhu ubhaya Charanam

Anupallavi

Velayudha guhan thanakku mun thondriyava,
Vimala umayal tharum magane, amala arulvay munivar thozhum

Charanam

Anbudan , thumbai, arugam pullai yeduthu,
Archanai cheythidum podhum-anbar,
Thunbam thudaithu perinbam tharum Varada,
Thunai puri pranavakara guna nidhiye

English Translation

Pallavi

Hey elephant faced god who is the primeval basis,
I surrender to your pair of feet.

Anupallavi

Oh God who was born before Lord Subrahmanya,
Oh God who was the son of the holy Goddess Parvathi,
Oh God who is saluted by sages, please bless me.

Charanam

When with love thumbai flowers and Arugam grass,
Are offered to you as worship, Oh God who blesses,
who removes the sorrow of his devotees
Help me oh store house of good and one who is like “Om”
