Vandeham vandeham varana vadanam
Varamuni varya vinutam varadam

Anupallavi

Chandana sindhura lipta shubangam
Chandra sekara sutam chinmaya rupam

Charanam

Shanmukhapriyam siddhi karam
Gananayakam deena pari palanam
Pranatharthi hara prana kumaram
Pranava swarupam bharani devam

English Translation

Pallavi

Salutations, salutations to the elephant faced one,
To him who is prayed by great sages and one who blesses

Anupallavi

He whose body is coated by sandal paste and saffron,
Son of Lord Shiva, He who has a divine form.

Charanam

He who is dear to Subrahmanya, He who gives us divine power,
He who is the chief of Ganas, He who looks after the oppressed,
The dear son of Lord Shiva, who has form of “Om”,
He who is of the planet Rahu.
