Uri yendhiya tiral vennayai tirudum chiru viral al,
Giri yendhiya hari , Madhava , thirumagal valar thirumarba

English translation

Pallavi

The cowherd who holds a flute,
Mukunda, Sri Vaikunta

Anupallavi
He who is merciful, he who has lotus like eyes,
He who is of the blue black colour of the cloud

Charanam

With the little finger that thieved the round butter kept in Uri,
The Hari , the Madhava , the one who has Lakshmi on his chest lifted the mountain,
