Mangala moorthiyaam   maaruthalayasenain

Malaradi  paniyukil Malakannedum  Manasa

 

The flower like feet  of the auspicious God,

Of Guruvayur, if we bow, the troubles would get removed oh friend

 

Anupallavi

Sanga heenaraam sadhu hrudhaya then nukarum

Madhu karanaam madhavan baktha vathsalan aaJaga

 

He who tastes the honey like heart  of lonely people

Is Madhava  who is sweet like honey, the friend of devotee, this worlds

 

Charanam

1.Peethambramaniyum, neelambu shyamalan

Chetho haramaam Murali vadhana lolan, gopalan

 

He who is black like rich cloud  who wears yellow silk

He  who is mad at playing the bewitching flute , the gopala

 

2.Sankha chakra gadha padhma dhara  kripa sagaran

Pinchama krutha chikuran, punchiri  thookum  sasi vadhanan

 

He who is ocean of mercy who holds, conch , wheel , mace and lotus

He whose  hair  is  tied above, The moon faced one who showers smiles

 

3.Gala  shobhitha  kausthbhavum, sree vathsangitha  Maarvil

Vana malayum   aninju vilangeedum vanajakshan

 

He whose neck shines  with Kausthubha gem, whose chest has  sri vathsa

Who wears  forest  garland is  the lotus eyed one who shines with all these
