English translation

Pallavi
I surrender the holy lord of the town
Established by Lord Guru and wind god.

Anupallavi
He is Krishna , the colour of water rich cloud,
Who lives in Goloka and is worshipped by Narada and Shiva,
And who is interested in protecting the three worlds.

Charanam
He is worshipped by Brahma and Indra ,
He shines greatly holding a flute,
He gives happiness to the damsels of Vruja,
He cannot be defeated and is very magnanimous,
He who is as pretty as one hundred cupids,
He is a never ending source of mercy,
He is the Chakora bird to the moon like face of Radha,
And he is the divine brother of Pravathi.

  1. Sir,
Can the 3rd line in the anupallavi can be sung as "thribhuvana - avana - aavesam.." to mean the lord (remembering he had once shown the whole universe in his mouth) is in desire to steal the three worlds.
and the 3rd line in the charanam as "smarad - athi - subhaga - aakaaram.." to mean "to meditate the lord's highly handsome body."

also the 3rd line in the charanam as "smarad - athi - subhaga - aakaram.." to mean "think krishna's extraordinarily handsome figure.."
